Inveress County Centre for the Arts - Return to the Forest

The forest can be a magical place where people connect with nature. Return to the Forest is a show is a stellar show that focuses on peoples fascination and connection with the forest in a variety of different mediums.

Side note: I am very happy to have been included in this show with a series of photographs that document some of my time exploring the woods where I live in Glencoe. I am very fortunate to live in a place where a walk around the property or a short drive offers so much potential for getting creative with my camera. 

Emily and I have settled here, bought a home in the woods and are putting down our own roots. There is something special about this place and something special about this show.

The show exhibition is on display until August 27th! 

Melissa and Vernon - Wedding at The Peg in Masstown

I've been a little slack with posting weddings this year. We spent the day with Melissa, Vernon and their family and friends earlier this Summer celebrating their big day! It was a little rainy so we took cover at Lowland Gardens and got some beautiful and colorful photos. We then headed over to Masstown to a fantastic place called The Peg. This spot is perfectly set up for weddings. We had a blast with Melissa and Vernon and wish them nothing but the best!

Cabot Discovery Tours - Good Cheer Tour

Emily and I had a fantastic day out with Cabot Discovery Tours, Cape Breton's newest sight-seeing tour group. We took in the Good Cheer Tour and got to visit Big Spruce Brewing, Cruisin' Cuisine, Eileanan Brèagha Vineyard and Glenora Distillery. I would recommend this experience to anyone! Check them out and the other tours they offer!
