Born in Quarantine - Kira Marianne Rankin

Thank you to all the amazing family, friends, artists, past clients and healthcare workers who have helped us financially and mentally through all of this. The love we have received will never be forgotten.

Our daughter Kira came into the world March 31st. Little does she know it is a much different world than the one we all came into. This is a photo story I put together document her first month on this pale blue dot in the cosmos.

Cabot Discovery Tours - Good Cheer Tour

Emily and I had a fantastic day out with Cabot Discovery Tours, Cape Breton's newest sight-seeing tour group. We took in the Good Cheer Tour and got to visit Big Spruce Brewing, Cruisin' CuisineEileanan Brèagha Vineyard and Glenora Distillery. I would recommend this experience to anyone! Check them out and the other tours they offer!

Highland Village Museum - Iona, Cape Breton

If you've never been to the Highland Village Museum in Iona you really should check it out. It's a living history museum that celebrates the Gaelic experience in Nova Scotia. You get to walk around the grounds, visit historic buildings and learn about the Gaelic culture from costumed animators. And to top it all off you get a stunning view of the Bras d’Or Lakes.
