Hello, my name is Steve.
Photography started as a hobby for me after receiving a camera from my parents and in-laws for Christmas in 2011. I had just moved back to Cape Breton and was really enjoying learning about the art of photography and exploring the Island again.
After a few requests for family shoots and weddings I took the plunge haven't looked back. My wife Emily and I have had an amazing few years documenting some of the most happiest moments in a lot of lives. It has been wonderful getting to know everyone on the other side of the lens. I get to experience intimate, fun and lifelong memories with each wedding and family session I am a part of.
I still go exploring scenic Cape Breton and I have been experimenting with film photography and developing my own work. Outside of photography I love family time with my wife and our daughter, wood working projects and camping.
This is Emily:
my wife, second shooter and biggest fan.
She photographs weddings with me and helps (a lot) behind the scenes with all of the "business stuff." She is also a graphic designer and runs Take Note Graphic Design.
Contact me here if you have any questions on pricing, booking or anything at all.
