Cindy and Colin - Iona and The Gaelic College, Cape Breton Wedding

The day started off cold and windy but that didn't dampen any spirits on Cindy and Colin's big day. It in fact gave them their very own wedding day rainbow just after the ceremony.

After getting ready at the Hector's Arm Bed and Breakfast in Iona we headed to their nearby ceremony just down the road at St Columba Parish. It's a gorgeous church we hope to shoot in more often.

To say their reception was anything short of Pinterest worthy is an understatement. Cindy and her supportive bridesmaids and family lovingly transformed the Great Hall of the Clans at The Gaelic College into a stunning forest inspired event. We heard some funny and some emotional stories of Cindy and Colin and had a blast on the dance floor with their guests.

It's not hard to tell that Cindy and Colin love each other very much and are loved dearly by of all their friends and family. We were lucky to be a part of their beautiful day and wish them nothing but the best.

Thanks for having us Cindy and Colin!

Katelin and Jude - Inverness, Cape Breton Wedding

We were extremely happy to be able to shoot Katelin and Jude's big day this Summer in Inverness.

While every wedding is special, when you know the couple personally it makes things all that much more special. Emily was very close with Katelin and her sister Mal when they were in elementary school so it meant a lot to be a part of this wedding.

We spent a fabulous day with their families getting ready while it poured outside. Thankfully the weather cleared up for their emotional, outdoor sunset ceremony at the Inverness County Centre for the Arts. And we spent a fun evening celebrating at their stunningly decorated reception full of laughs, great food and dancing. It was definitely a special day.

Thank you for having us!
