Megan and Tony - Mabou Coal Mines Elopement

Megan and Tony had an intimate ceremony when they eloped to Cape Breton for their wedding. When they asked me for suggestions for an outdoor spot I immediately thought of Mabou Coal Mines. What a beautiful backdrop. We finished the day off at the Glenora Distillery for a few more shots. Congratulations Megan and Tony - I was honoured to witness your special day!

James and Ashley - Cape Breton, Skyline Trail Engagement

Engagement shoots are always fun, especially when its all coordinated by the new groom to be. James contacted me weeks before his and Ashley's trip to Cape Breton to plan a surprise engagement on the Skyline Trail. We kept in touch all day and the whole thing went perfectly. We were even treated to a stunning sunset. Congratulations to James and Ashley! Thank you for asking us to be a part of such a special moment!

Inverness County Centre for the Arts - Tiny Houses

You should really check out the Tiny Houses exhibition at the Inverness County Centre for the Arts. Curatored by Ellen Adler, this show explores space, shelter, home and sense of place through some pretty whimsical and impressive pieces. The opening night even had a talk from Tareq Hadhad of Peace by Chocolate. It's on display until August 27th!
